LIARR Analysis of Two College magazine Covers


Language - Long Shot, Mast head, Main Cover Line, Main Image,
Institution - Department for Children, Schools and families
Ideology - Makes School look fun and makes lessons at a particular school look a lot better, Questions the length a lesson could be but with a question making it look more appealing.
Audience - Teachers, Secondary school students
Representation - Represents school as been very positive and very user friendly for the students  




Language - Main Image, Medium Close Up, Main  Cover Line,   Price,  date, subtitles and smaller features 
Institution - College Lifestyle Magazine 
Ideology- makes college look like the best option, makes campus' look good, reviews gadgets and generally talks about American College Lifestyles 
Audience- Students at college in America, although based in Jamaica, Students thinking about going to college in America
Representation- Represents College as been the next step and been the best way forward for students 





Language - Masthead, main image, sub image, sub headings, smaller feature, Different sizes and different colored fonts 
Instisution -  Department for Children, Schools and families
Ideology - The Main Feature doesn't give much away about what is going to be in the magazine, mentions new features in the magazine
Audience - Teachers, Secondary school students
Representation - represents school as been fun and entertaining and quite comical
